Antinomian at will, the empress of flowers reveals her voluptuousness over the hours. And then, sometimes, a few thorns find their way into this candy pink world.
The rose and its scent, delicate or captivating, is magical, mystical. It must be treated with caution, revealing its mystery, draped in its coat of purple or tender petals. With us, this perfume knows how to be wise, before revealing a unique complexity that no one suspects. In the latest issue of Nose , the olfactory magazine, our creation Sage Rose is seen as “ the link between a retro aesthetic and a rather contemporary indulgence ”.
Two completely contrasting eras for which Jean-Claude Astier, creator of the juice, has indulged in a set of fragrances magnifying the Eternal Queen that is the May Rose.
It is this duality of associations, of scents rarely combined, which make Sage Rose a subtle blend of scents from a thousand and one lives. In the morning, the rose is without thorn, it goes straight to the heart. It reveals itself from the first moments. Then, it will flourish in space, until nighttime to become a mysterious diurnal bird. The initial “blue flower”, light and cheerful, will strum on contradictory chords, leaning against sandalwood and vanilla, to achieve this metamorphosis.
It is in the evening, after this alchemy, that it finally develops its full aroma, partly made of thorns. The olfactory score ends with an almost demonic accord. This paradox is also reflected among fragrance lovers: young girls in bloom with powdery, rosy complexions, but also older men, immersed in childhood reminiscences.
Transcended from these Antithetical notes, Sage Rose is unique. She is the shadow, cradled by the stocky Iris. She is the light thanks to the candor and whiteness of Jasmine. This intertwined day/night game, this permanent dance with the skin allows it to offer a special note to each person.
And you, have you already tested it?
